Smile by Judith Armstrong

Good morning and welcome to my last post using Shine Bright by Kaisercraft. This time I created a masculine layout.

1. Using various pieces of paper from the Kaisercraft Shine Bright 6.5 x 6.5 pad rough out the design of your page, so that you can see where it is going to go on the cardstock background.
a. Mat your photo on the yellow brick paper.
b. Cut a piece of white dotted on black paper 8cm x 16cm. Cut in half.
c. On each half adhere a piece of grey and white chevron paper (6cm x 7cm) leaving a 1cm border around one end.
d. Cut a strip of multi coloured chevron paper. Shape the ends and cut in half. Adhere onto middle of grey and white chevron paper.
e. Adhere these to the back of the photo mat.
f. Cut 2 pieces of pp 9cm x 2cm and adhere to the top and bottom of the photo mat.

2. Place the patterned paper on the white cardstock and mark with a pencil the edges of the patterned paper. This helps in the placement of the background work.

3.  Taking a yellow Gelato scrape a bit into a plastic container and add water to create your own watercolour paint. Paint this onto the piece of white cardstock using a brush or you can use a plastic bag as a brush as it gives a random finish, making sure you are aware what would be covered up by the patterned paper.

3.  Again taking note of where the pp is going on the page, stamp circles from the Prima Coffee Stain stamp set using Black Soot Distress Ink, so that they peek out from behind the paper.

4. Using Crafters Workshop 6x6 Chevron template, sponge over it with some Viva Decor 3D stamp metallic steel paint.
5. Stick down the patterned paper /photo.
6. Add some die cut pieces from the Collectibles.
6. Stamp a few of the ink blotches from the Prima set randomly around the page.

7. Add some dots of Ranger Liquid Pearls - Pewter along some of the edges of the pp and diecuts.

8. Add the title. I used a diecut from the Collectibles and added a few chevrons.
