'In Perth" Layout by Linda

Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal Linda has created a lovely layout to share today.
I hope you enjoy it.

(all patterned paper edges have been inked in brown)
1.    Choose your photo and use a circle cutter or trace around a plate to create a circle just larger than your photo from the Honeycomb paper.
2.    Ink the edges with brown ink.
3.    Adhere the circle to the layout base which is the floral and Lace Paper.
4.    Cut three lengths of paper from the following patterns – Collage Stripe (both sides); Stripes – lengths should be 27cm, 26cm and 22 cm.
5.    Flag cut the ends of the strips and ink with brown before adhering to the bottom of the circle beneath where your photo will sit. Curl up the flag-cut ends with your fingers for dimension.
6.    Adhere your photo to the centre of the circle above the patterned paper strips.
7.    Cut a pink doily from the Doily Paper, cut it in half and adhere under the top left and bottom right edges of the photo.
8.    Fussy cut a grey doily from the Doily Paper, write your journalling on it, ink the edges and adhere to the top right corner of the layout.
9.    Cut the largest Artisan Circle in half and adhere the pieces as per the layout tucking the ends in under papers and the photo.
10.    Fussy cut a circle element and a couple of flowers from the patterned papers and adhere with a few brads to the bottom left of the photo.
11.    Die cut a Fantastic flourish out of tracing paper and adhere to the bottom left of the photo.
12.    Adhere a large brad to the top right of the photo and embellish this and the journalling spot with 3 other brads of varying sizes.
13.    Adhere the “Hello there” flag brad to the left hand edge of the layout and finish off with alphabet stickers to create your title at the bottom.
14.    I have circled the number 9 on the ruler detail at the bottom to indicate my daughter’s age in the photo.
