Live in the Sunshine

Hello friends and welcome to the New Year!  Do you make  resolutions for the new year and then promptly forget about them?   It's Ann here and I must admit to having done that once or twice! but today's card seemed to me to be a good resolution for any time of the year.  What do you think?

My images are from Gabis Sunshine stamp set by 49 & Market.

I stamped these using Versamark ink onto watercolour card and then white heat embossed them.

I then went to work with my colorburst pigment powders, and plenty of water.  I used blue, green and citrus - I don't know how the red got in there, but that is part of the magic of these pigment powders - just a speck produces such a wonderful effect.  I spritzed a lot of water, and tried not to blend too much, so that some of the movement of colour still remained.

When dry, and flattened by laying something heavy on top, I die cut a stitched rectangle shape.

The sentiment was stamped over the panel using Versafine Onyx Black, and clear embossed.

The panel was popped up using fun foam cut slightly smaller than the panel, and adhered to my card front.

Thank you so much for visiting, and I hope you are off to a wonderful year of crafting!
