New Suit

Hi there! Angela here with another Gelato LO!  This time, I have changed it up a little and not gone the usual way of using water to activate all the colour.  I have used a paste and once it was dry rubbed gelatos across the paste and with my finger rubbed diagonally to create a look of movement.  This can give you the mixed media look but a little more controlled.

* with a 12x12 smooth white cardstock, place a Tim Holts Stars layering stencil and secure lightly with washi.
* Wipe paste over the stencil until completely covered.  I used a serrated plastic knife to give the paste a little more texture.
* gently lift off stencil and wash immediately!  the paste, if left to dry is really hard to remove.
*Once completely dry, rub gelatos across the paste using a few different colours.
* with your finger, rub in a diagonal motion and blend the colours together. Rub the colours off the paste and onto the cardstock.
*Adhere the pic to the far left of the paste and die cuts as shown
* Using Glossy Accents, adhere Heidi Swapp Transparent letters as your title.
* Trim white cardstock to 11x11 and fold washi tape around the edges as shown
* Using a fine liner draw a continuous line with a loop every so often
* Adhere to green patterned paper.

  1. That's brilliant Angela! I love the idea of using the serrated edge of a knife for texture in the paste!! Crazy awesome!!

  2. Very cool effect on your LO

  3. Love the colour effects and texture you achieved with this LO
