"Hello Puppy" tutorial by Narelle Riley

Let me introduce you to our new puppy-  you might be seeing him feature in a few layouts!  He is an Australian Government Border Force puppy (used to be called Customs and border protection) who we are fostering for the next 12 months.

But the real star of this layout is the gorgeous "Cocoa Vanilla- Hello Lovely" paper and embellishment range!  I especially love the wood veneer shapes and the vellum hearts!

  1. Note-  Ink the edges of all the papers before adhering.
  2. Use "Glimmer" as the base.
  3. Trim "Life Story" to 16cm x 12cm and adhere 3cm from right edge and 8cm from top of layout.
  4. From "Lucky Dip" paper cut off the "Love this" heart panel and the "So Cute"" arrow and set aside.  From the remaining paper cut a piece 10cm x 15cm and adhere 3.5cm from the left edge and 7cm from the top.
  5. Adhere two frames as shown in the photo below.
Add a photo in the centre, overlapping the frames
  6. Add the "love this" heart in the lower left corner, slightly overlapping the photo.
  7. Staple velum hearts on the right side of the layout.
  8. Add other die cut ephemera to suit the photo, using foam tape to raise some of them up.
