"It's a Boy thing" baby card by Narelle

Hey everyone

It's Narelle here!
Today I'm sharing with you a baby boy card I created using a gorgeous new line of papers and matching embellishment that we are now stocking in store. The thing I love most about Cocoa Vanilla Studios is that they are a local Australian Scrapbooking company!  Check them out here

  1. Cut Navy cardstock to 13cm x 27cm.  Score and fold at 9.5cm.
  2. Cut a second piece of cardstock to 13cm x 19cm,  Score and fold at 9.5cm.
  3. Apply double sided tape to one side of the folded cardstock and join the two pieces together to create a "Z fold" card as shown.
  4. Cut the paper pieces as follows-
    spotted-  17.5 x 12.5cm
    Gingham- 9 x 12.5cm
    Chambray- 9 x 12.5 cm (2 pieces)
    Cloud- 9 x 12.5cm + 4 x 12.5cm.
  5. Ink the edges of all the papers with a blue ink and adhere as shown using double sided tape.
  6. Stick the cloud stickers on left over navy cardstock and trim leaving a find blue edge.
  7. Embellish the card as shown, adhering the wood veneer shapes with clear glue
