"Love Notes" card tutorial by Narelle

Hi everyone

Today I have created a card using  the Kaisercraft Cherry Blossom Pad and collectibles (no fussy cutting this time!!).  The great thing about the Kaisercraft pads is that they have die cut border pieces in them that are the perfect sizes for cards!

  1. Create a card base from whit card stock that measures 6" x 6".
  2. Select a dark pink piece of paper from the pad for the base and cut to 15cm x 15cm and adhere to the base.
  3. Select a green piece of paper, cut to 14cm x 14cm and adhere on top of the pink paper.
  4. Cut the pink tie-dyed paper to 13x13cm and adhere in the centre of the green paper.
  5. Carefully push out the 3 border pieces from the pad and sand the edges using an emery board.
  6. Adhere using foam tape to create some layers.  Tuck the "love" tab in behind the top right edge.
  7. from the collectibles pack select the "love" & "notes" banners and adhere under the bottom edge of the ribbon tag.  Adhere to the top let corner of the card using foam tape for layers so the "love notes" sits at the same height as the border pieces.
  8. Find 3 flowers that are the same but in different sizes and adhere together using foam tape, turning up the edges.  Adhere on the ribbon tag.
  9. Inside the card- cut a pale pink piece of paper 14.5 x 14.5cm and adhere.  Add a sticker in the top right corner.
