Winter Wreath - Christmas Card

Please take a moment to read the post that is below mine today .

Hello  it's Sue with a little Christmas project to share today.

A CAS card with a tag using the same images along with some sprays and glimmer mist.

Winter Wreath from Avery Elle is a fabulous set that allows you add lots of tiny elements to make cards, tags, decorate boxes and Scrapbook pages.

Here's how:

The Card.
  • Trim score and fold smooth white card to make a 4.25 x 5.5 inch top fold card.
  • Stamp the wreath in Peeled Paint ink towards the top of the card front, keeping the open area towards the bottom, leaving room for the bow.
  • Stamp the bow and berries in Barn Door ink.
  • Stamp the pine cones between the berries I used the smaller image and stamped 3 together at the top of the wreath.
  • Wrap some red/white twine around the front of the card, securing on the inside.
  • Stamp three acorns to a scrap of white cardand hand cut these out. Pop them up on foam squares over the twine.

The Tag:

  • Using a Spellbinder Labels 8 die cut two shapes from smooth white card.
  • Leave one in the die and spray with Dylusions sprays Cherry Pie and Fresh Lime, after spritzing dry with a roll of kitchen paper then spray with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist.
  • Remove the shape from the die and sponge around with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink.
  • Stamp the Sentiment followed by the wreath and some berries.
  • One the second shape Stamp 'to and from" as well as the bow and some pine cones.
  • Adhere the sprayed shape over the second shape using Dries Clear Adhesive. Run a brayer over the back of the piece to spread the glue.
  • Punch a whole in the top right of the label and thread through some twine. Using a double piece of twine finish with a bow.

Thanks for taking the time today.
