Gorgeous Carta Bella Moments and Memories

Hi there - Linda here today with a layout created with the
The patterned papers in this collection are stunning and they are a thicker weight paper
than most....making them very easy to work with.
Here's my tutorial for how this layout came together...

1.     Use a plain white piece of 12 x 12 card for your base. Cut a 7.5cm wide piece of the Black Damask paper and adhere the two pieces onto the white base, chandelier pattern down the left side and black damask on the right.
2.     Adhere the blue damask scalloped sticker where the two papers join.
3.     Using the Art Is Template and White Texture Paste create texture on the black background, top right and bottom left.
4.     Splatter Gold Colour Shine over these areas and allow to dry.
5.     Mat two photos with Small Stripe Paper.
6.     Cut a piece of the Border Strip Paper that measures the same as the side measurement of your photo mat. You want the pink patterned side. Punch with a favourite border punch and then adhere down the side of the photo mat.
7.     Tuck a smaller cropped photo under the bottom right of this larger photo mat, angling it if you wish.
8.     Add your title with alphabet stickers down the punched pink patterned paper edge.
9.     Stamp the Cruise Ship from the G45 Stamp Set with silver ink on a scrap of black card, fussy cut and add to the side of the two photos.
10. Add a relevant chipboard word, also inked with silver and the polka dot chipboard anchor from the Simple Stories DIY Boutique Chipboard Sticker Set.
11. Add a sub-title below the stamped image on pieces cut from the patterned paper.
12. Complete your embellishing with a number of Element Stickers from the kit, a few MME Word Stickers and hand written journalling around the outside edge of the layout.

Happy Crafting :)
