Double Pocket Christmas Wallet by Sue W

Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal Sue W has created a nifty Christmas Wallet to share today.
I hope you enjoy it.
Sue said the wallet was ideal for including her yearly newsletter with her Christmas cards.

1.    Trim a 12” x 12” sheet of double sided design paper to 8.5” x 11”
2.    Score   the long side at 4.25” and fold in half.
3.    Turn the paper and score the short side at 5.5” and fold in half.
4.    Open the paper and cut the horizontal fold from the left edge of the paper to the vertical score line.
5.    Fold the bottom right corner so the bottom edge meets the edge of the centre score.
6.    On the top left corner measure 2.75” from the edge and make a small pencil mark. Measure the same distance from the top down towards the cut horizontal line and make a pencil mark. Fold down the top left corner between the marked points.
7.    Fold the top left rectangle over the right hand side.
8.    Fold the bottom left rectangle under the folded rectangle on the bottom right.
9.    Fold the bottom corner up over the other folded corner.
10.    Add high tack adhesive on the sides of the bottom half and fold it up.

To decorate:
 1.    Stamp the Reindeer image to vanilla card using Rangers shabby shutters distress ink and trim to size  (1-7/8” x 2-7/7”). Pop this up with adhesive foam tape to vanilla card measuring 2” x 3”.  Add 2 red dew drops.
2.    Stamp JOY to a strip of .75” vanilla card using Rangers barn door distress ink. Trim to fit across the base of the Pocket card snipping the end to form a banner. Adhere to place.
3.    Adhere the Reindeer image over the banner to complete.

For the card insert:
1.    Trim, score and fold ivory card to make a 3.75” x 3.25” side fold card.
2.    Stamp the Merry Christmas sentiment and Dec 25th image in shabby shutters ink. Stamp the wrapped parcel in barn door.
3.    Add two dew drops and tie some red/white baker’s twine to complete. Add the Christmas greeting in the first pocket with your family newsletter in the second.
