3 Quick Christmas Cards using Washi Tape by Sue W

Hi Everyone.
Our DT Gal Sue W has created 3 lovely Quick Christmas Cards using Washi Tape to share today.
I hope you enjoy them.

3 quick Christmas cards using Washi Tape.

Marching Hedgehogs.

1.    Stamp the hedgehog image four times to X-Press It blending card. Use a Stamp-a-ma-jig to help placement. Colour with Copic markers and trim to 1-5/8” x 4-1/8”.  Adhere to a strip of distressed green card.
2.    Trim, score and fold smooth white card to make a 4.25 x 5.5” top fold card.
3.    Add two strips of Washi tape at about 2-3/8” down from the top of the card, using the stamped panel as a placement guide for the second strip.
4.    Stamp the sentiment just above the first strip of tape.
5.    Using foam mounting adhesive add the stamped panel between the Washi tapes.

Christmas Robins.

1.    Trim, score and fold smooth white card to make a 4” square card.
2.    Emboss the front of the card base. I used Cuttlebug Snow flakes, but any seasonal one or Stars would look good.
3.    Trim a piece of red card to 2.75” square and emboss with a Cuttlebug Swiss dots e.f. Adhere to card base ‘on point’.
4.    Stamp the image to X-Press It blending card. Die cut and emboss, using a Spellbinder Classic Large Oval die.
5.    Colour the image with Copic markers adding some Star Dust stickles around the edge of the oval.
6.    Adhere the image to the card front adding a small piece of Washi tape beneath the image.
7.    Stamp the sentiment to a scrap of smooth white card trim to size, adding some stickles around all four edges.  Adhere over the Washi tape at the base of the card.
8.    Double a length of Washi tape by folding the sticky sides together. Tie a small bow and trim the ends of the tape as you would a ribbon.  Adhere this to the top point of the red card using High Tac tape.

Merry Christmas tree

1.    Trim smooth white card to make a 4.25 x 5.5 inch top fold card.
2.    From another piece of white card cut a tree and pot shape, using a sharp craft knife. *
3.     Trim to 3.5 x 4.25 inches.  Emboss this piece using a Swiss dots  e.f. Adhere some dp to the back of this piece of card allowing the pattern to show through the cuts.
4.    Add 4 strips of Washi tape to the card base, using the embossed card as a guide.
5.    Stamp a sentiment at the bottom of the card, adding dew drops for embellishment.
6.    Double a length of Washi tape by folding the sticky sides together and tie a small bow, trimming the ends.
7.    Add the bow between the tree shape and the pot using High Tac tape. Add more dew drops to the tree shape to finish.
