'Sweet Blossom' Card by Sue K.

Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal Sue K has created this lovely card to share today.
I hope you enjoy it.

Cut Key Lime cardstock, 140mm X 40mm, and Cricket cardstock 140mm x 65mm.
Attach to a 140 x 140mm white card base, the two pieces will not join, attach the Key lime to the top and the cricket to the bottom.
Cut smooth white cardstock, 140mm x 45mm, place the Piestra tile die in the centre and run through the big shot.
Cut another piece of smooth white cardstock 140mm x 40mm, this will sit under the die cut piece.
Before attaching it to the die cut, take a clean ruler and copic markers that match the image and rule lines along the length of the strip.
Attach to the die cut with the tape runner, round two of the corners with ¼” side of the chomper.
Cut in half, attach to the card with the tape runner, overlapping on the right side about 5mm.
Cut 3 butterflies from the cricket cardstock, attach to the bottom of the card front with glue or a Xyron.
Stamp the image onto Xpress it blending cardstock using Memento Tuxedo black ink.
I have not coloured the entire image, I was surfing one day and found a technique called ‘Spot’ colouring, this is my interpretation.
Using Y11, Y13, Y17, BV02, BV11, BV13, BV17, YG11, YG13, YG17, C00, C0, C1, C3.
Adding Spica pen to highlight the flowers and the dots too.
Cut out using the Labels 1, cut a 2nd label the same size from Xpress it blending card.
Colour the outer edge of the label using BV13, cut in half, layer under the image using the tape runner.
Attach some satin ribbon, if you can’t find one to match, colour some white satin ribbon with BV17.
Attach the label using foam tape.
Lastly add a line of mini Rhinestones along the centre.
