Envelope Gift Card Holder & Notelet by Sue W.

Hi Everyone
Our DT Gal Sue W. has cleverly created a lovely Envelope Gift Card Holder & Notelet to share.
I hope it inspires you to give it a try.

Envelope Gift Card Holder and Notelet
4.25-inch square.

1.    From Black 12 x 12 inch card cut a strip 4.25 inches wide x 11.5 inches.  Score at 3.75 inches (front fold down section) and again at 8 inches and fold (making 4.25” centre back and 3.5” fold up sections).
2.    Take two 6” x 4” envelopes, seal them then trim to 3.5” x 4” and adhere them one to another forming two pockets.  Arrange the two pockets between the scored and folded black card.  Using Zip Dry glue adhere.
3.    Layer the front fold down section of the gift holder, with coral  coredinations from the TH Distress Collection and striped dsp (Lost & Found Market Street).
4.    Die cut a bird and birdcage from dsp. Using the birdcage as a pattern, draw around it onto smooth white card for a background to stamp on.  Hand cut using scissors.
5.    Stamp the perch and chain using Memento tuxedo black ink to the white birdcage shape.  Arrange the bird with birdcage over the shape, adhering with Zip Dry glue. Draw legs with a Copic multi liner.
6.    Adhere the completed birdcage to the centre of the Holder adding a back/white twine bow to the top. Add a small pearl to the base of the chain.
7.    Trim a small scrap of black card to 3-2/8” x 7/8” and layer with coral coredinations and dsp. Stamp the sentiment to the centre of the dsp.  Using 3D foam squares attach this to the base of the folded up section of the holder to form a tab.  The front flap sits beneath this tab.

1.    Trim Black card to 3.75” x 3” and layer with coral Coredinations.
2.    Die cut a strip of dsp using Spellbinders Edgeabilities Mix and Match Classic Scallop  (edge only). Adhere to the bottom of a piece of smooth white card measuring 3.5 x 3”.
3.    Stamp the sentiment in tuxedo black ink just above the scalloped dsp.
4.    Stamp one of the birds from the stamp set in worn lipstick and Memento new sprout.  Stamp some small hearts above the sentiment.
5.    Wrap black/white twine around the scalloped strip and finish with a bow.  Adhere the white card to the coral layer.
6.    From Coral card, punch two .75” circles, adhere these front and back at the top of the notelet to complete.
7.    Slip the notelet into one of the pockets with a gift token in the other.
