Happy Easter

Hello happy Easter to you and were you caught in any April fool pranks? I nearly was but I cottoned quickly to my friend in time.
Thanks for popping in today I am sharing a card that I've made for my mum's stash. Mum wanted a nice elegant design with no sentiments that could be used for any occasion.  I have used the Stampedous arabesque mandala cling stamp and used a few different colour embossing powders.  It is a beautiful elegant stamp that has enough intricate designs wit in to make it simple yet classy (brief ticked)
I have added a little strip of glitter paper to add a little interest too as it was a little too simple for my liking and finished off with an enamel dot.  I just love watching silver embossing powder melt, more than any other powder.  Of all the colours the gold and silver are my favs.   if you are lucky enough to have a MISTI you can make a few in one go (Angela's fav type of card!)

* trim 5 Neenah white cardstock 10cm x 28cm and fold in half. This is your base card.
* trim 5 Neenah white cardstock 9 cm x 14cm
* place Stampendous Arabesque cling stamp on your misti and ink up with versa fine
* arrange stamp so it is a little off the page
*Stamp the 5 pieces of cardstock and set aside ( the versa mark will stay wet enough for embossing powder to stick)
*Cover completely with embossing powder, Tap off excess and heat emboss
* Just heat up heat gun off to the side for a minute or so so it doesn't warp your paper
*Adhere glitter paper and adhere to base card
*finish off with enamel dots

  1. Classic cards - beautifully embossed! I agree, the little strip of glitter adds that special something - a lovely design!

  2. Those are so beautiful - and the strip of glitter is the perfect finishing touch!

  3. Such gorgeous cards...your design looks great in every colour!! :)
