WOW with Angela

Hi there!! Is it Christmas Crazy at your house?  I am sharing a non Christmas card today, although change the sentiment and the colours and you could have one.
I have had my distress Oxides for a while now and I haven't really had much of a chance to play. They are just a beautiful product that blend beautifully, stamp beautifully and react beautifully with water.  It is no wonder they are sold out everywhere, I love them.
I had quite a few practice sheets blending all the colours to see what worked and Tim Holtz is a genius as they all work so well together.

* Die cut Plum card stock 20cm x 12.5cm and fold in half landscape
* Die cut Concord and 9th Heart on middle of white cardstock and trim to 12.5cm x 10 on the back cover heart with double sided tape.
*blend Distress Oxide colours on an A4 white cardstock using all the colours, spray with water, dry and repeat until you have your desired look.
* Die cut C&9th heart three times on your practice sheet taking care to keep all the "lines"
* Arrange pieces to fill in the die with different colours as shown.
*emboss sentiment on Vellum with black embossing powder
* trim to create a banner shape and adhere to centre of heart.
* Adhere to plum base card with foam dots.

  1. I use this little die often...I do like your oxide coloured paper...very effective and beautifully clean and simple, Dx

  2. Love the beautiful and colourful heart on your card Angela..!!
