As usual, when I obtain a new stamp set, I first stamp all the images onto scrap card, playing around with them to see what I can do with them. This time, the image of the bare tree (I think that is what it is, or perhaps a snow flake?) really said 'repeat pattern' to me.
So I experimented with how to make a whole card just with this one stamp, and found I could stamp half of this image (using a post it note to stamp along the straight edge) and then place the post it note over that stamped row, turn the card upside down, and repeat matching up the central line. It's not symmetrical, so the pattern is 'odd' but I hope it works! I was aiming for an ombre effect, so stamped off the darker ink to create a mid-tone.
I made my glitter dots by adhering an adhesive glitter roll over scrap card, and then punched out a variety of dots. The smallest one was made with my crop-a-dile!
Thank you so much for coming by today - and happy crafting!
