To start, I stamped out all the images onto white blending card, then cut them out. I knew I wanted to create a scene so arranged those images I wanted to use on my card. I then felt I needed some background colour, and sponged a masked shape which I had stamped with a few spots and clear heat embossed them, to seem like stars or snowflakes.
I had picked up some sparkly foam at Riots on my last visit there, so cut it with the MFT hillside die, as a place to stand Santa on. I also die cut around my white panel with the scallop edge in the Mama Elephant Basic die set.
I stamped my sentiment on a spare strip of white with Versafine Onyx black, using my Misti so that I could ensure a crisp image. I then cut the edge of that as well to suit the panel.
All that was left to do was adhere my coloured images, using foam dots for Santa and the little girl, but Mono Multi liquid glue for the rest. This whole panel was then adhered to a navy card folded to make a card measuring 10.5 x 14.8cm.
I'm hoping that whoever receives this card at the end of the year has been 'good' enough to receive some lovely pressies! I'm sure they have been, if it is one of our young grand-daughters:)
Thanks so much for visiting, and I hope you get to enjoy some crafting time soon:)
