Altenew Thank You

It's Ann back again with another card made with the Altenew stamp set:  Peony Scrolls.  You may have seen the watercolour card I showed earlier, but this time I'm stamping only one flower, and using Copic markers to colour it.  I think you'll agree, it gives a totally different look!

Card recipe:

Cut a card front from blending cardstock, to fit a standard card base.  I used the stitched rectangle from the Mama Elephant Basic Set die.

Stamp your chosen flower and leaves, and colour with Copics or other markers.

Stamp another flower on extra blending card, colour it the same as the card front, and trim out to make a tag shape.   I used the stitched tag from the ME Basic Set die - this die set is SOOO useful!  Stamp the sentiment (from the set by MFT - Polynesian Paradise) below the flower.

Add a bow made from seam binding, and pop up the tag over the card front, using foam squares or similar, making sure to match up the two flower images.

Trim the white card front to suit your base card - I used ivory card for mine as it seemed to suit the yellow tones of the flower.

Finally, add a few enamel dots as desired to finish the card.

Copic colours used:  Y02, Y15, Y35, Y23, BG93, YG23, YG91, G21

Thanks so much for visiting, and happy crafting!
