Heartfelt Creations "Cascading Fuchsias" Fussy Cut & Layered scrapbook layout

Hi everyone,

Time to get your fussy cutting scissors sharpened and your foam tapes and dots ready because we are going to give them a workout on this layout!

Begin by selecting the two pieces of the framed base paper from the pack.  Cut around the outside of the frame, then carefully cut an opening in the center bottom of the frame (where the finished layout has the "cherished & memories" tags to allow access into the middle of the frame to cut out the center paper as well.

I've chosen to leave the filling inside the scrolls in the left and right corners to allow a bit more area for applying tape adhesive.

Next, select two squares of paper from the paper pad, trim, ink the edges, and adhere to the base using flat double sided tape.
Adhere the photo in thee center of the square, mounted with foam tape.

Ink the edges of the frame and adhere to the layout using foam tape and foam dots.  I adhered the dots and tape to the base paper and then placed the frame over the top, working from the top down, gradually removing the backing paper to reveal the adhesive as I went.

Cut two tags to cover over the join in the bottom center of the frame.

Now comes the fun part!
Cut lots of different sized fuchsias from the paper pads and layer over the top of the frame.  You wont find any in the pack that are exactly the same size as the ones that are on the frame- go for larger at the top to create a feature, and smaller on the sides so that the ones from the frame can be seen poking through.  Ink the edges.
Use different brands of foam tape and liquid scrap dots to create dimension and depth as you glue them on. Dont forget to add some extra leaves too!
