Hello from Lawn Fawn

Hi there!  This is Ann, and my last post for this month again uses that wonderful stamp set by Lawn Fawn - Into the Woods.  This time, I have added some die cuts to my card, and I have to say, they make everything so easy!  I admit, it's not that hard to fussy cut a small image, but when you have almost every image in the set die cut and stamped, it's such fun to arrange your card!

To make this card:
  1. My base layer is a white card, 13.5cm square, with two stitched square layers on top.
  2. The image is adhered to a white layer 8.6cm square, sponged with Distress Ink Mowed Lawn for the grass hills.
  3. For my images, I selected the tree stump, the critter and the clouds together with the speech bubble Hello.  The racoon is coloured with Copic markers and the other images stamped with inks in pale blue, brown and peach.  Tree stump and clouds are adhered to the base layer with Tombow Mono Multi but the critter and the speech bubble are popped up with foam dots.
  4. This white layer is mounted onto another square, using paper from the Echo Park 6x6" paper pad, Sunny Days Ahead.
This is a simple card, but sunny and bright, and would make a perfect card to send to someone who needed a cheery word.

Do take a look at this stamp set as it has so many cute images, and can be used for many occasions - and for those who love a bit of Copic colouring, as I do, it has many opportunities to indulge yourself!

Thanks for calling by
