"Awesome Boy" Layout by Linda Langes

Hi Everyone

Linda here with a Layout created using the Echo Park "That's my Boy" collection.

Tutorial:
1. On white cardstock background create a range of effects using the Tim Holtz Stars Stencil, Texture Paste, Heidi Swapp Gold Colour Shine, Distress Stains and texture stamps and ink.
2. Cut a circle with a 22cm diameter from Plaid Patterned Paper and ink the edges with black ink. Adhere 4cm down from the top and 2cm in from the right edge of the background. Continue the details created on your background across the edges of the circular piece.
3. Cut a 25cm x 5cm piece from Controllers Patterned Paper, tear one edge, ink with black and adhere crookedly across the base of the circle.
4. Cut a 23cm x 3cm piece from Controllers Patterned Paper (using the yellow side), punch and tear the edges and adhere crookedly above the first strip.
5. Cut a 22cm x 3cm piece from My Boy Patterned Paper, tear the edge, ink and adhere above the other two strips.
6. Adhere your photo on the right edge of the circle and accent with Element Stickers from the That’s My Boy Collection Kit.
7. Cut out Text Card from the You Rock Journalling Cards sheet and adhere under the left edge of the photo.
8. Add journalling strips below the patterned paper strips.
9. Create a cluster in the bottom right corner of the photo with Prima Wooden Gears painted with stains and mists.
9. Create a visual triangle on your background with a few torn notepaper sticker pieces and star stamps in your stash.

10. Finish embellishing your layout with star and arrow stickers.
