'Hoot Hoot Hooray' Card & Post It Holder by Sue

Hi Everyone
Our DT Gal Sue has created a cute card & Post It Holder to share today. I hope it gets you feeling crafty too!

Tutorial:
Trim Smooth white card to make a 4 x 5 inch top fold card base.
Add a layer of geranium card  (Trendsetter 12 x 12 paper pack)
Using Rich Cocoa ink to ink the inside of a wood grain EF emboss a piece of white card and trim to 3.5” x 5”.
Die cut a small oval shape from the embossed card.
Stamp the Owl to white card. Cut the stamped image so it sits beneath the oval frame popped up on foam.
Use foam tape to pop the wood grain layer over the geranium card.
Stamp the sentiment to geranium card.  To make the banner score the card twice either side of the sentiment at 1/8” intervals and fold under.
Cut the ends to form the banner tab and adhere to card front using more foam tape.

The Post-It cover is made from a strip of geranium coloured card cut to 3-1/8 x 6-6/8”.
Score the card at 3-1/8” and 3-5/8”. Adhere Post-it notes to the inside of the cover using strong double-sided tape.
Decorated the front by stamping the owl to the right side of a square of white card. Add a 1” strip of 3 scraps of DSP to the left side.
To complete add a pearl flourish and adhere the white card to the Post-it folder.
