'Flaxton Gardens' Layout by Linda Langes

Hi Everyone
Our DT Gal Linda has created a lovely layout to share with you today.
I hope you enjoy it.

 Tutorial:
(all paper edges have been inked with brown ink)
1.    Punch strips from park Drive – Blanket patterned paper with the Doily Lace border punch and fold and adhere them as a frill around the outside edge of the 12 x 12 die sheet.
2.    Mat your photo with Park Drive-Trails.
3.    With a craft knife carefully cut around the peach and leaves on the edge of the background floral image on the die-cut so you can tuck your photo in there.
4.    Use Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight (largest die) to die cut a label from the Through the Lens paper.
5.    Cut a “today was” journalling card and arrange your title on it with your handwriting and lettering stickers.
6.    Stamp the date on another coordinating journalling card.
7.    Arrange the photo, die cut label and journalling cards in position and adhere.
8.    Cut a 16cm piece of the large scalloped Artisan Ribbon and colour with Dirty Martini Glimmer Glam. Allow to dry or blast with your heat gun.
9.    Adhere this strip below your photo.
10.    Cut a 16cm piece of the smaller scallop Artisan Ribbon and adhere on top of the first. Accent with pink pearls/rhinestones.
11.    Cut an 18cm piece of Webster’s Trim and adhere on top of the Artisan Ribbons.
12.    Die cut a strip of Heart Chain Border from the Trails paper. Ink the edges and adhere below the photo.
13.    Create the cluster to the right of the ribbons/trims with 3 coordinating circles cut from the Through the Lens paper; pink flowers and leaves cut from the top of the alphabet stickers sheet and a fountain cut from the Refreshed paper.
