Baby Card by Sue K

Hi Everyone
Our DT Gal Sue K has created a super sweet card to share today. 
I hope you enjoy it.

 

Tutorial:
 Cut smooth white cardstock 140mm x 140mm, Tillie Dots Green 140mm x 25mm and 140mm x 85mm
Attach the two green pieces to the white cardstock with double sided foam tape.
Wrap around a length of seam binding around the top right hand corner, securing the ends at the back with tape.
Loop some seam binding, leaving 2 tails showing at the front, secure with a button and twine.  Attach to the top right hand corner with double sided tape.
Cut the lettering from Echo Park Summertime paper, attach with small foam dots.
Cut a border from yellow paper from the Echo Park Splash pad, attach with double sided tape.
From the same yellow paper cut 3 chickens, stamp the feet from the MFT Notched tag stamp set, attach the chickens on top of the stamped feet with mini foam dots.
Attach to a 140mm x 140mm square card base.

With Love Card by Sue W.

Hi Everyone
Our DT Gal Sue W. has created a very pretty card to share with you today. I hope you enjoy it.

Turorial:
1.    Trim SBB smooth white card to make a 5” card base. Distress the edges with Rangers tea die ink.
2.    Trim some cream on cream DSP to 5-3/8” square and distress the edges as above.
3.    Die cut the Fancy flourish from the reverse side of the DSP.
4.    Layer two pieces of distressed DSP (measuring 3-6/8” x 3-2/8”) catching the flourish beneath the top one.
5.    Wrap some satin ribbon over the base of the card, securing at the back and tying to the left side.
6.    Die cut Marianne basket from a scrap of Rangers  Distress Collection Paper and ink the edges.  Adhere to card front with Zip Dry glue.
7.    Punch some ferns and leaves from a mixture of  green card.
8.    Die cut the flowers from pinks and blue card, shape and layer each using dries clear adhesive. Add an antique gold pearl to the centre of the flowers.
9.    Arrange the leaves followed by the flowers  in the basket , when happy with the arrangement adhere using dries clear adhesive.
10.    Stamp the sentiment to more of the cream on cream DSP using Frayed Burlap ink. Cut to size and pop up on foam squares.
11.    Using Zip Dry glue add the completed card front to the base card.
