'Covered Notebooks' by Narelle

Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal Narelle has created some cute covered Notebooks to share today.
I hope you enjoy it.
These would make a lovely Christmas gift but can be decorated to suit any occasion.

Tutorial:
Note-  These covered notebooks can be made using any papers and embellishments.  You can change them to suit any theme of gift giving occasion.
The sample notebook measures 7.5cm x 12cm x 1cm, and measurements have been made accordingly.  Measurements can be adjusted to suit any size notebook!
1.  Using a sharp blade, cut two pieces of chipboard 9cm x 13cm, and one piece 1.5cm x 13cm.  Adhere double sided tape liberally to the chipboard, and adhere to piece of paper that measures 12cm x 30cm, leaving a 1mm gap between each piece.

2.  Trim the corners of the paper, and using double sided tape, wrap and adhere to chipboard.

3.  Cut a piece of coordinating paper 8.8cm x 27.5cm and adhere centrally on the inside cover of the notebook.

4.  To make a pocket so that the notebook can be changed, cut a piece of paper 11cm x 10cm.  Wrap this around the back cover of the notebook (trim the corners) and then flip over and adhere to the inside cover.

5.  Decorate the front cover!  For the Christmas notebook- cut a red rectangle 8cm x12cm, and a Holly rectangle 7cm x 11cm.  Adhere on the front cover and add a journal sticker.  Create an accordian flower using the Tim Holtz die and add a title.
