'Christmas Friends' Card by Sue W

Hi Everyone
Our DT Gal Sue W. has created a gorgeous Christmas card to share.
I hope you enjoy it.
Tutorial:
1.    Trim, score and fold Smooth White card to make a 5 inch square side fold card.
2.    Stamp the hedgehog and robin image to X-Press It blending card twice.  The second one is to give you the hedgehogs head and scarf only and a second robin.
3.    Colour with Copic Markers, before die cutting one complete image using an oval die. Hand cut the head and scarf and the second robin.
4.    Add the hedgehog’s head over the main image, using Helma scrap dots 3-d adhesive.
5.    From a piece of dsp and using a scalloped oval die cut the mat and adhere.

6.    Layer 1 - Trim a piece of  ‘pool’ blue card 1/8” smaller than base card. Ink around all sides with Brilliance moon white ink.
7.    Layer 2 – Trim dsp to 4-5/8” square and adhere to Layer 1. Machine stitch all four sides.
8.    Layer 3 – Trim a piece of ‘pool’ blue card to 4-5/8” x 2”.
9.    Layer 4 – Add a second dsp to layer 3 and machine stitch around all four sides.
10.    Die cut 2 borders using Die-namics Faux Crochet Border die from blue card and adhere one to the top and one to the bottom of layer 4.
11.    Adhere the completed layer 4 to the card approx. ½” from the bottom.
12.    Wrap some white seam binding/ribbon around the card, threading the ends through a wood button and finish with a bow.  Position the button and bow so it sits just beneath the scalloped oval.
13.    Adhere the oval to the card using scrapbook adhesive foam to pop it up.
14.    Stamp the sentiment to smooth white card, cut to fit and adhere to card, add the second robin to the right, using the 3d adhesive.
15.    Adhere the completed card front to the base card.
