"Outdoor Girl" Layout By Narelle

Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal Narelle has created a gorgeous layout to share today.
I hope you enjoy it.

PRODUCTS USED:

Pink buttons, White grosgrain ribbon

TUTORIAL:

1.       Trim Echo Park “Border Strip” paper (reverse side) to 10 ½ x 7 ½  inch rectangle.  Lightly ink the edges with brown ink.   Adhere to the brown cardstock in the bottom half, leaving an even border on bottom and 2 side edges.
2.       Trim “Flutterby” paper (reverse side) to 6 ¼ x 9 ¼ inch rectangle, ink edges in brown and matt on green cardstock with a fine border.  Adhere in the centre of the pink rectangle.
3.       Cut a circle that measures 6 inch across the centre,  from “Clover meadow” paper, and a 6 x 12 inch strip from the reverse.  Ink the edges in brown and adhere the strip 2 ½ inches from base of Layout.  Adhere the circle 1 inch from left edge and ½ inch from base.
4.       Add ribbon in the centre of the green & white strip, then tie a bow using the Bow Easy and glue to the right edge.
5.       Add your photos (I have used 2 ½ x 4 inch photos)
6.       To make the fan folded flowers:-
Cut 2 strips of “clover Meadow” paper-  2cm x 25cm and 1 strip 3cm x 25cm.
Fan fold the paper, starting with a 0.5cm fold.

Glue the 2 ends together to form a ring.

Gently pull the outside edge of the ring out to form the flower.

Apply Pritt glue to a small circle of paper and press the flower into the glue until it sticks flat.

1.       Add buttons that have been threaded with some Bakery Twine.
2.       Glue the flowers to the layout using pritt.
3.       Lay the bakery twine around the layout with some pritt glue holding the loops in place.
4.       Cut out pink and green butterflies from the “Flutterby” paper off cuts and scatter around the layout.
5.       Add a title and sticker from the Sticker sheet.

Merci Beacoup Card by Therese

Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal Therese has created a lovely card to share today.
I hope you enjoy it.
Love Therese's choice of colours & I think the card is just gorgeous!
I am also lovin' these new Stampendous Jumbo stamps, they are so versatile - great for a layout or a card or even a home decor project!

PRODUCTS USED:
TUTORIAL:
1.      Fold a white card base 280mm x 140mm in half.  Cut Coffee cardstock 110mm x 110mm and adhere this to the centre of the card.
2.      Cut Coffee cardstock 100mm x 100mm and emboss this with the Snow Cap Folder through the Bigshot.  Adhere this to the centre of the panel with double sided tape.
3.      Wrap the brown satin ribbon around the card front, just below the centre and affix with the join on the front of the card.  Create a bow using the Bow Easy (it really is easy!) and use a strong Glue Dot to attach it to the right on the ribbon.
4.      Use the antistatic pad prior to stamping the rose image three times in VersaMark ink on Xpress It Blending Cardstock.  Emboss this in white using your heat tool.  Use your Blending Tool to colour the images, mostly using Spun Sugar and then highlight with Fired Brick.
5.      Fussy cut the rose in varying sizes and layer with foam dimensionals.  Adhere this to the left side of the card using foam dimensionals.
6.      Create a tag by cutting white cardstock 15mm x 40mm.  Colour this with the blending tool using the distress inks and stamp the sentiment in Rich Cocoa.  Adhere this with a glue dot at the base of the bow.
