Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal Therese has created a lovely floral card to share today.
I hope you enjoy it.

PRODUCTS USED:

Ink:                   VersaMark, Hero Arts Chalk Ink - Latte, Distress Ink - Frayed Burlap

TUTORIAL:
  1. Fold a Vanilla card base 280mm X 105mm in half.  Use the ink blending tool to add some Frayed Burlap to the edges.
  2. Cut Kraft card 130mm X 95mm.  Ink up the Friend Definition stamp with Latte and then lay the cardstock on top.  Use the brayer to ensure even coverage.  Then ink the edges with Frayed Burlap.
  3. Cut Jazz (reverse)130mm X 55mm.  Use the Goodbye Static pad and stamp the sentiment in VersaMark ink in the lower left hand corner.  Emboss in black.  Draw the flower stems with the Multiliner and ink the edges with Frayed Burlap.  Adhere this with double-sided tape to the right of centre on the Kraft background panel.  Then attach the panel to the card base with foam dimensionals.
  4. Stamp the flower image in VersaMark onto Cocktail and Red Jazz and emboss in black. Fussy cut these and affix to the card as shown with foam dimensionals.  Use glossy accents to glue the Dew Drops to the flower centres.
  5. Create the leaves by drawing them freehand with the VersaMarker onto Swingin paper, emboss them in black, fussy cut and attach with double-sided tape as shown.

Chocky Box by Sue

Hi Everyone,
For the last of our Christmas in July DT Projects, our DT Gal Sue has created a beautiful chocolate slider box to share today. I hope you enjoy it.
I do love the aqua & red colours she has put together too, so pretty!

Products Used:
Stamps: Hero Arts Clear -Holiday Sayings
Cardstock: Robin's nest, Cherry cardstock,
Paper :Echo Park Everybody loves Christmas, Candy Lane, Snowman, Trim the Tree
Ink: Memento -  Lady Bug
Accessories: Cheery Lyn Designs Fanciful Flourish Die,Grand Nesties Labels 11,
Nestabilities Circles, Memory Box Blooming Rosette Die,
MME Lime Twist Happy go Lucky "together" twine,  Ranger Stickles 'Crystal', Hug Snug Chalk White Seam Binding (about 75cm), Rhinestone (coloured with R27 Copic marker)

Box - Step by Step Tutorial:
You can click on each of the images to make them larger to read instructions.

Box Decoration:
The chocolate box is made to fit a Lindt 150g block of chocolate measuring 90mm x 192mm x 10mm, if you can’t find a block this size, tweak the measurements to fit the block you have.
Make the chocolate box following the photo tutorial at the end of this post.
From the ‘Trim the tree’ paper, cut a grand Label #11 using the 5th largest die, wrap around the box , attach with double sided tape.
Wrap twine around the box four times, secure with tape.
Cut flourish from ‘Cherry’ cardstock, secure with tape.
Cut the Rosette from the ‘snowman’ paper, cut the centre of the rosette from ‘Cherry’ Cardstock.
Cut a slightly smaller circle from cream cardstock using the circle Nestabilities. Stamp with the sentiment using Lady Bug ink.
Attach to the rosette with foam mounting tape.   In between the Cherry and the Cream layers, wrap some twine around, cut an additional length of twine (enough to make 2 extra loops on each side).  Adding the extra loops in, secure with the ends of the 1st piece and finish off with a bow and a coloured rhinestone.
Attach the rosette in the centre of the box with foam mounting tape.   For a little bit of sparkle,  add a little stickles to the edges of the rosette.
Finish off with a 15mm strip of ‘Candy Lane’ paper at the bottom of the box.
Add some chocolate, find that special someone to give it to!!
