"Fifteen" Layout by Angela

Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal Angela has created a great layout to share today.
She has used the Echo Park Dots & Stripes, Metropolitan Collection Pack.

Products Used:
Echo Park Dots & Stripes Metropolitan 12x12 Collection pack
Jillibean Soup Twine - Blue & Green
My Mind's Eye Lime Twist ~ Together alphas
Black cardstock
Kraft cardstock
Adirondack Pitch Black ink

Tutorial:
Start with black 12x12 cardstock as your base.
Cut 1/2” from two sides of your Kraft cardstock.
Trace a scalloped shape from a die, cut PP or free hand like I have done and adhere to right side of the kraft cardstock.
Fold flag stickers from the Metroplitan collection pack over twine and leave a little space between each flag to create a loop. Adhere them top left of kraft.
Cut 1” x 10” strip of the back side of polka dot pp and adhere 3/4 of the way down the page on the right hand side.
Keeping your focal photo first, place scalloped journal spot under photo and then place your other photos randomly across lower half on top of blue strip.
Adhere red scalloped border to bottom of blue strip and on top of focal photo.
Stick your letters & numbers under the 2nd photo and another Date journal spot.
Cut a thin white scrap of white for a flag pole and attach a flag.
Adhere your title above photos using black stickers from EP Metropolitan pack & you are done!

Flower Card by Sue

Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal Sue has created a very pretty flower card to share today. She has even created her own Designer Paper using her Copics.
I hope you enjoy it.

Products Used:
Stamps: Hero Arts Clear - Birthday Sayings, Layered Flowers and Envelope Pattern
Cardstock: Taffy, White, Apricot Cardstock & Xpress-it Blending Cardstock
Ink: Memento -  Tuxedo Black, Versafine- Onyx Black, Versamark
Copics: G21, G24, YR16, RV09
Accessories: Die-namics Flower Border Die and Rolled Rose Die (MFT),  Rhinestones (coloured with Copic RV09), Stickles - Crystal, Clear embossing powder, Corner Chomper.

Tutorial:
For this card, Sue has made her own Designer paper.... a really simple technique but lots of fun and a fabulous effect, you will never be without the perfect DS Paper again.  The key is to clean your ruler with hand sanitiser between each colour change, this will save your marker tips from becoming stained.
Cut a piece of Blending cardstock 105mm x 150mm
Place the cardstock in a portrait orientation,  on top of some scrap paper. Take your ruler and your 1st copic marker, using the chisel end of the marker, draw a line on the edge of the long side of the cardstock.  Clean your ruler with a tissue and hand sanitiser, move the ruler about 6 or 7mm (this can vary depending on the amount of white you desire between each stripe) from the 1st line drawn, and then draw another line with a different colour copic marker, repeat this step with the desired number of colours until the entire cardstock is coloured.
Take a scrap of blending cardstock, large enough for 2 of the leaves, using the same technique as above, rule lines using the green markers alternately.
Stamp the larger flower image onto the Copic DS paper and the Apricot cardstock.  Cut on the outer line of the apricot flower and the inner line on the Copic DS paper.  Stamp with the Envelope Pattern stamp using Versamark ink, and then clear emboss.  Layer the coloured flower onto the Apricot flower with foam tape.
Stamp the leaves onto the green striped Copic DS paper, trim.  Cover each leaf with Versamark ink, then clear embossing powder and heat.
From the remaining colourful Copic DS paper cut a piece, 75mm x 105mm, clear emboss the same as the flowers.
Cut a border of flowers from white cardstock.
Cut Taffy cardstock 30mm x 105mm
Colour 12 Rhinestones with RV09 Copic marker.
Using the rolled rose die, cut out a rose, roll up and secure with a foam dot.
Assemble the card as pictured, stamp the greeting with the Versafine ink and round one corner.
Finish off the rose with a little stickles on the edges of the petal.
The possibilities are endless with this technique!

In My Heart Layout by Angela

Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal Angela has created a lovely layout to share today.
She has used the Basic Grey "Lauderdale" Collection Pack.
I hope you enjoy it.

Products Used:
Black cardstock
Basic Grey Lauderdale 12x12 Collection Pack
Basic GreyLaudedale Pieces & Die Cut Shapes
Basic Grey Lauderdale Glazed Brads
Black marker

Tutorial:

Use black cardstock as your base.

Trim Basic Grey Grass Stain pp to 25cm x 25 cm square and adhere to the centre of the centre of the black cardstock.

Keep one of the off cuts from the Grass stain and trim 30.5 cm x 1 cm

Cut 5 squares from the Basic Grey SPF pp 5cm x 5 cm and outline in black pen.

Cut 1 strip from the Basic Grey Beach Towel 30.5cm x 2.5 cm and pleat randomly until it is 17 cm.

For this LO you can have two 3x2 photos or one 6x4 in Portrait.

Mat two of the SPF squares in black card stock, arrange and adhere as per the photo.

Adhere the yellow “love you love you love you” journal spot near the bottom so the writing is showing.

Mat the top photo and adhere them on top of squares, making sure the squares are poking out from the sides. Leave a little space between the two for some sticker dots (from the sticker pack) and end with the “you + me” glazed brad in between the two photos.

Place the blue pleated Beach towel underneath the photos and the small strip of green grass stain on top.

Randomly stitching zigzag and straight stitch, while folding some corners of you pleats.

Attach journaling spot from BG Pieces pack and adhere to left of photos, slightly overlapping the photos.

Adhere the branch leaf sticker to left of journal spot.

Use black sticker letters for your title

Write, type or dymo label your journaling.

Finish off with three haphazard lines around your green grass stain paper and randomly colour in spaces to create a border.
Attach a tab punch to top left and draw three little hearts with a black pen.
