Our DT Gal Angela has created a lovely layout using the Basic Grey Lauderdale Collection to share today. I hope you enjoy it.

Products Used:
Kraft cardstock
Basic Grey Lauderdale 12 x 12 Collection pack
Basic Grey Lauderdale Brads

Tutorial:
Use 1 12x12 sheet Kraft Cardstock as your base.
Cut 18cm x 8 cm of the BG coastline PP
Tear one side and one length to create an uneven look
Adhere to bottom right of the kraft cardstock.
Place your 5x7 photo bottom right hand corner. Just above the PP.
Cut random rectangle shapes (just follow grid on pp for shapes)
Outline with a black marker just inside the shape. Mount some with mounting tape and place as per photo. Making sure they overlap.
Using the Sticker Elements and BG Pieces for journaling spots, place diagonally left above the photo making sure all elements are overlapping.
Mount the “It’s summer” and attach with a glazed brad top left of the photo.
Attach the four little tabs with brads and glazed brads  and attach to left side of the photo.
Stick your title above the photo and outline with black marker to make it stand out.
Stick wave sticker on bottom of the photo .
Write, type. Dymo label your journaling.
Draw two lines unevenly around the kraft cardstock and colour in every so often to create a border.

Birthday Marci & Diamond Card by Sue

Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal Sue has created a lovely card in a fun shape to share today. I hope you enjoy it.

Products Used:
Stamps: La La Land Crafts - Birthday Marci
Cardstock:  Peony & Xpress-it Blending Cardstock
Paper: Echo Park Little Girl Collection - Cindy Circles
Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black
Copics: E31, E33, E35, E37, E39, E50, E51, E53, YR12, YR16, YR18, YG23, YG25, C7, R0000,R20, R81, R83, R85, R89
Accessories: Cheery Lynn Designs Doily Die- French Pastry, Pink Sew Easy floss- Princess, Copic Opaque White, MFT Die-namics Faux Crochet border, Rhinestones

Tutorial:
You can view the tutorial for the Diamond Card shape HERE

Taking a piece of the Peony cardstock, 4” x 12”, follow the instructions on the above tutorial to make the base of the card, it is a little fiddly but well worth spending the time, once you have the 1st one mastered it will be smooth sailing for the ones that follow!

To decorate the sides, cut the Echo Park Cindy circles paper 45mm x 95mm, you will need to cut two of these.  Using the reverse side of the paper (the purple stripes) cut two of the Faux Crochet boarders, measuring 95mm.  Add the boarders and the circles to the card base with double sided tape.

Cut a French Pastry Doily from the striped paper.  When cutting out the doilies I have found that taping the die (use scotch magic tape) to the paper or the cardstock stops it from slipping around and then I run it through the Big Shot 4 or 5 times to ensure a perfect cut.  Any bits left in the doily can quickly be pushed out with a paper piercer or pin, make sure you do it over a bin, as you will have little bits everywhere!!

Thread the pink floss through the holes around the centre of the doily, secure with a bow.  I have added another piece of floss at the bow to make a second bow.

Attach to the card base and adorn with some rhinestones.

Stamp Birthday Marci and an additional little present onto Xpress it blending Cardstock using the Memento Tuxedo black ink and colour with Copic markers.  Trim, add a few highlights with the Copic Opaque White and some tiny rhinestones on the present and the shoes.

Fix to the doily with foam tape.

A perfect card for your favourite little Miss!

New! Cuttlebug All In One Embossing System

Hi Everyone,
We have just received our first delivery of the New Cuttlebug All In One Embossing System, with many more design sets still to come.

These look like they will be lots of fun. Each set has all you need to create cards, scrapbook pages, journals, mini-books, etc.  " Uses a folder, and a variety of embossing plates to give you the freedom to move and create your own designs."
Each Package contains ten positive plates and ten negative plates.  You can emboss, deboss, and letterpress images with the 'All in One system'.

Each package contains designs that can be used together, or separately.  There are borders, corner designs and focal images that coordinate with the embossing folder that is included.  The themes being introduced cover all kinds of occasions.

I think you will get a lot of use out of the 'All in One' system, because we can use each individual image on it's own, or with the other images.

Gift Box by Angela

Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal Angela has made a clever little gift box that would be great for some Mother's Day Chocolates, or jewelery. I hope you enjoy it.
Angela has used the Cosmo Cricket Paper Collection Kit - Circa 1934.

This is a really quick little gift box and can be used for any occasion really.

Just get two 12 x 12 patterned paper of your choice (co ordinating works well) or even cardstock is nice too!
Cut the PP that you want for the BOTTOM box to 11.5 inches X 11.5 inches.

fold all the corners in to the centre as shown below.

Fold in to the centre (as shown below) turn the paper around and repeat on other side. Repeat again on the other two sides.

open one side (as shown below) and pinch the two corners so they meet in the middle.

fold the flap over and tuck it all in.  Repeat on opposite side.
Do the same for both boxes and they SHOULD look like the pics below

Cut a strip of plain cardstock 12 inches X 2.5 inches and another co ordinating strip 12 x 1 inch.

attach and wrap around the box and then wrap an organza ribbon and tie two bows.

 Cut three scalloped circles,

distress each circle and adhere together with a pearl brad.

attach  with a glue dot and push up against ribbon.

fill with chocolates a gift card, jewelery etc

Products Used:
Paper : Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934
Cardstock: Cream
Ribbon: Cream Organza
Adhesive dots: Glue Dots

Wishing all the mum's a very HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY for tomorrow !
