"Handsome" Layout by Narelle

Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal Narelle has created a very "handsome" layout to share today.
I hope you enjoy it. I just love these new My Mind's Eye Papers!


PRODUCTS USED:



TUTORIAL:

1.        Cut the following sizes and pieces from the papers in the pack:-
  •  "Boyish - Handsome" paper-  Cut out the "You are so handsome" block, and a piece that    measures 22cm wide x 18cm high from the crown side, and a piece that measures 7cm wide x  17cm high from the glitter spot side.
  • "Boyish Plaid" paper-  Cut a 5cm high x 30cm wide strip.
  • "Dream - Wallpaper" paper- cut out the "You are so special" and "bird" journal blocks.
  • "Everywhere - Correspond" paper-  Cut out the large and small butterflies, and the "correspondence" tag
  • "Everywhere - mirrors" paper -  cut one ruler, 30cm wide.
  • "Fun day- today" paper- cut out the "Today" journal block, and cut a piece 20cm wide x 4cm high.
2.        Ink the edges of all the pieces using Tim Holtz Walnut Stain distress ink, and also the edges of Fun day -  "borderline" which becomes the base of your layout.
3.        Adhere the Glitter circle paper on the layout, 1.5cm in from the top and 1.5cm in from the left edge.
4.        Adhere the green/cream striped block 2.5cm from the right and 4cm from the base of the layout.
5.        Adhere the glitter plaid strip over the cream/green strips, 6.5cm from the base.
6.        Adhere the crown paper 4cm from the top and 4cm from the left.
7.        Ink the edges of a 5"x7" photo and adhere on top of the crown piece, 6.5cm from top and left edge.
8.        Adhere the ruler piece under the photo.
9.        Add the bird journal block on the left edge of the layout, 0.5cm from base.
10.    Over lap the "You are so handsom" journal block with foam tape, and add the small butterfly.
11.    Adhere the "Correspondence" tag in the lower right corner using foam tape.
12.    In the top right corner, add the "today" journal block, and adhere the "you are so special" block using foam tape.
13.    Add the large butterfly, adhering just the body so the wings lift up.
