Wreath of Leaves Cards by Sue

 Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal Sue has made a beautiful pair of Christmas cards to share, I hope you enjoy them.
She has used the Hero Arts Wreath of Leaves Stamp to create two different looks.

Warmest Wishes Card

Products Used:
Cardstock: Kraft
Paper : Basic Grey ‘Oliver’ 6 x 6 paper pad
Stamps: Hero Arts ‘Holiday Sayings’ & Wreath of Leaves (both back in stock soon)
Inks: Memento Rhubarb Stalk, Colorbox Frost White pigment ink,
Distress ink- Antique Linen, Crushed Olive
Extras: White embossing powder, Twine, button, 1/4" Circle Hand punch, Liquid pearls – Ruby Red

Tutorial:
Stamp the wreath on Kraft Cardstock (100mm x 140mm) using white ink, emboss with white embossing powder - allow to dry.
When dry sponge with olive ink until you get the desired depth of colour.
Stamp sentiment in the middle of the wreath using Rhubarb Stalk ink.
Sponge the edges of the Kraft with the Antique Linen Distress Ink.
Add a strip of paper ( 100mm x 40mm) at the bottom of the wreath
Add the liquid pearls randomly around the wreath, groups of 3 and singles
Where the paper meets the Kraft, punch 2 half circles, wrap the twine around 3 times,
Secure the tails of the twine through the button.
Layer onto another piece of Kraft using double sided mounting tape.

Stay Tuned for Sue's second card using this lovely stamp.
